THE ANGLICAN OVERSEAS AID (AOA) donated five (5) HP Laptops to Kolaero Rural Training Center at the ACOM conference room on Friday 10th April 2015.

The General Secretary of the Anglican Church of Melanesia Dr. Abraham Hauriasi and ACOM Solar Project Coordinator Mr. Hollan Sikou handed over the laptops to the Principal of Kolaero RTC Mr. Oliver Manepitu and Rev. Reuben Epongo, the school’s chaplain.

Mr. Oliver thank the Anglican Overseas Aid through the Anglican Church of Melanesia for continuous support to the developments in the school, in terms of computers and solar panels.

“Last year, we receive 400 watts solar system that lights up the school; now we receive five laptops that will boost the standard of learning in our school” the Principal said.

“One of our major programs is secretarial and basic computing, and with the solar power and the laptops we should not have any problems now,” the Principal said.

ACOM Solar Project Coordinator, Mr. Holland Sikou said this is the continuous support the AOA through the ACOM began in 2014 under the ‘Solar for Schools Program’.

“The primary object of the program is to help students in their night studies,” he said.

Dr. Hauriasi thanked the AOA for continuous support to church school through the ongoing partnership.
