A new two story building classroom block at Norman Palmer School is taking shape each passing day.
This is a latest report taken when accompanying the Archbishop of the Anglican Church of Melanesia the Most Revn’d David Vunagi to the school on Monday 23rd February 2015.
The classroom block which is near completion will cater for Forms four and five.
However, due to shortage in classrooms, Form four elective classes had already commenced using the bottom floor of the building.
According to the School Principal Mr. Matthias Rorai, they will try to complete the building by July this year.
“The carpenters are working very hard to complete the building by July at least”, Mr. Rorai said.
“We would like to thank our school partners, the school governing body – ACOM, students and parents for their support towards this building”, the School Principal Mr. Rorai said.
Mr. Rorai said he is confident that the building should be completed by July this year.
Norman Palmer School is located within the Gilbert Camp area, east of Honiara.
Norman Palmer School has two partner schools in UK. They are Feniton School and Tipton St. John School and Kings Secondary School in England.
