THE Anglican Alliance biggest capacity building programme, Agents of Change was launched in Honiara on the 11th July 2013. The ACOMBM Mission Secretary, Fr George Elo launched the study programme facilitated by the Anglican Alliance Pacific Facilitator, Tagolyn Kabekabe. A total of 11 participants are undertaking the program which will run for six months. The participants come from all works of life and are very enthusiastic about their participation.
This year 2013 marked the beginning of the practice of Pilgrimage as part of the celebration of the day of the Ini Kopuria, founder of the Melanesian Brotherhood (MBH), by the MBH in Southern region, in the diocese of Vanuatu. The MBH and Companions in the Regional Headquarter on the island of Ambae organized a week-long celebration from Sunday 2nd to Thursday 6th June 2013.
THE Diocese of Central Melanesia (DOCM) bid farewell to four of its rural parishes on the 1st of June 2013.
The four outgoing rural parishes are Sahalu parish west of Honiara and Gaubata, Gueora and Tasimboko Ilonga parishes, east of Honiara. These parishes became part of the diocese of Guadalcanal, when it is was inaugurated on 21st June 2013.

Since creation, God created everything and man was made in his own image and likeness. Everything was perfect and men enjoy that perfect relationship with his God. Men walk and talk with God. (Genesis 1: 27, 31 / Gen 3: 8). When man fall , he leave the presence of God , that is when humans begin to experience pain, sorrow, sufferings, and sickness begin to haunt his offspring. It was then that humans begin to seek for created things like medicine or other natural remedies for healing (Gen 3: 16-23).
More than two hundred fathers from various churches in Honiara, Malaita and Ngella came together to spend four days in prayer and worship during the Easter weekend at Taroaniara in the Diocese of Central Solomons.
Oftentimes we tend to draw up more activities or mission targeting those who are already enjoying life in free environment. Those who can run around looking for their own food when they are hungry, go to hospitals when sick and run to their parents or someone close to them to share their discomfort.
